Where to Look When Weather Strikes
The weather plays a very important role in fishing. Fish are much like humans when bad weather strikes. Before a storm though fish seem to go in to a feeding frenzy and tend to eat everything that comes in front of them. When its hot the fish seeks cover just like humans do, but fish find cover under lilly pads and thick mats of grass (below).
Hot Days
When hot weather occurs the fish seek shade just like humans do. Lilly pads and thick grass mats are the most abundant amount of shade for many fish to be held there. On hot days flipping the Big Bite Baits Fighting Frog is the most preferred by people.
Overcast Days
On overcast days the atmospheric pressure tends to spurt a feeding frenzy right before the weather gets worse. If you are a tournament fisher these are the type of days of dream of because the fishing will be at its best. Top water bait is the preferred bait on a nasty overcast day.
